🌟 Hertford Astronomy Group – Early Autumn Update!

Hello everyone,

We hope you’re enjoying the slightly darker evenings creeping back in — it’s starting to feel like proper observing season again. Before we dive into what’s coming up, we want to say a huge thank‑you for the brilliant support at our recent events.

🎉 Thank you, Wheathampstead Village Day!

You were fantastic. The stall was busy all afternoon, and the number of people who stopped to chat, ask questions, and peer through the scopes was wonderful. A big thank‑you to everyone who helped set up, pack down, and talk to visitors — you made the day.

🌞 And thank you for the Bramfield Eclipse event!

What an evening. The turnout was enormous, the atmosphere was buzzing, and you handled the crowds beautifully. From safe solar viewing to answering endless questions, you all helped make it a memorable community event. We’ve had so much positive feedback — well done, everyone.

🔭 Now… we need your help again this Saturday!

This weekend we’re running another outreach session at the Howard Centre in Welwyn Garden City, and we’d love a few extra volunteers. Even an hour makes a huge difference.

You don’t need any equipment — just enthusiasm and a willingness to chat to curious visitors.
