Booking a place at a meeting - at the University
Ticket Booking Information
To book a ticket please use the button below which will take you to the TicketSource booking form.
Some things to note:
•
Tickets are allocated taking into account social distancing. The system will leave one seat clear each side, in front and behind.
•
It will ask for contact details of all attendees.
•
Members will need their Membership number. Your number will not need any preceding 0s. For example, if your Membership Number
is 006 then just enter 6.
•
You are limited to a maximum of 3 tickets. If this is a problem please contact us and we will see how we can help.
•
On completion you will be issued with an eticket which you should bring with you to have scanned.
•
Ticket sales will close 4 hours before the start of the meeting.
•
Seats are not actually numbered in the lecture room so you may have to do a bit of counting to ensure you are in the right place. Row A
is at the front and Seat 1 is on the same side as the entrance.
•
Book early to get the best choice of seats.
Booking early also enables us to help you overcome any snags you may encounter.
Charges
Members are free.
Visitors are charged at £2.00 each
Under 18 are free
Students are free - bring ID with you
At the University
There are several things to note so please read this section carefully if you wish to come along.
1.
The venue is the Lindop Building on the University of Hertfordshire's site in College Lane Hatfield.
2.
Admission is by ticket only which is available online. Fully paid up members will gain free admission.
3.
Visitors are subject to a £2.00 per person charge. This can be paid with online ticket purchase only. No cash will be taken at the door.
4.
Attendance is subject to accepting the Health and Safety Rules (see below)
Health and Safety - Covid
1.
We are conscious that Covid has not gone away
2.
No-one should come into the premises if they feel unwell or have tested positive for COVID-19.
3.
Attendees should continue to wear face coverings whenever possible.
4.
While gathering in the waiting area outside the room wear a face covering and maintain social distancing.
5.
Using face coverings when moving around or where social distancing cannot be achieved.
6.
Observe good hand hygiene practice by using sanitizer.
